Priscilla Turner Spada will be the featured reader at the Amesbury Public Library Poetry Series on Tuesday, November 28 at 6:00 -7:30 PM. She is a poet and artist from Newburyport, MA. Her chapbook, Light in Unopened Windows, was published in 2016, by Finishing Line Press. It deals with subjects about family and an aging mother who died in her 100th year.
Priscilla has also been published in Ibbetson St. Press literary magazines, #'s 40, 41, and upcoming, #42; the Merrimac Mic anthologies, one forthcoming; and What is Home?, a Portsmouth Poet Laureate publication.
She is a regular reader at the Powow River, Merrimac Mic, and Portsmouth poetry hoots. She was a featured reader there; at RiverRun Bookstore, Portsmouth; and Gibson's in Concord, NH in 2017.
She has had a glassbead/jewelry making business for 20 years. She went to art school after high school and has taken many art classes over the years, the happiest and most productive at the Museum School in Boston. She has been in many art exhibits, including one-woman shows in the past.
