Marc Levy, a decorated Vietnam vet, will read war poems and excerpts from his new book "How Stevie Nearly Lost the War and Other Post War Stories." He will also show "The Real Deal", a short film which features his prose poems. Levy was an infantry medic with the First Cavalry in Vietnam and Cambodia in 1970. His work has appeared in New Millennium Writings; Cutthroat; Slant; War, Literature and the Arts; CounterPunch; Best American Erotica 2000; Mudfish; So It Goes; New Madrid, and The VVA Veteran. It is forthcoming in The Comstock Review. He won the 2016 Syracuse University Institute for Veterans and Military Families Writing Prize, published in Stone Canoe.
