About me
Melody is a singer/songwriter/poet who uses her music to encourage the dreamer inside of each of us to step into the world with love. Performing for both adult and children audiences, Melody just released her 9th CD Lullabies of Love-Nurturing the Heart of the Inner Child. After 9/11, she performed her Peace Begins with You and Me concerts for 22 inner city schools and has gone on to perform it throughout the United States in public and private schools, conferences, churches, and libraries. Her children's CD Friends Forever was nominated for a Grammy award. She has won Parents’ Choice Award and the national Kidlutions Awards. Melody has been a keynote in Chicago for Montessori conferences and for McCormick University, as well as the keynote speaker for many early childhood conferences. One of her most powerful moments was being invited to Oklahoma City after the bombing to solo a peace and healing concert at the University of Oklahoma.
