About me
My experience of poetry is one based in the community, not academia. I see it as a language that we evolve together, seated at a table ruled by kindness and constructive collaboration, a language that all are welcome to speak, write and understand.
For me this vision of poetry began ten years ago in workshops taught by Sam Cornish, Boston's first Poet Laureate. Since then, my poems have been on exhibit at City Hall, and I have held readings at Copley Square library, Forest Hills chapel, and other venues around Boston. Currently, I write with Poem Works in Newton. I am most recently published in F(r)iction, Paterson Literary Review and Writers Without Margins: A Journal of Poetry and Prose.
